Education Counselling

Educational support services are available for people who are interested in furthering their education to enhance job search opportunities. Going back to school is a big decision. Find out more about your options and explore the many learning opportunities that are available, ranging from in Business, IT, Health Care, Law, Engineering & Trades based training programs. Educational counselling is available for people who already know the type of training or education they are looking for but need help finding the right program. If you’re thinking about going to school but don’t know what to study, our Career Workshop is a great place to find out! This one-hour individual appointment will identify which programs exist, their availability and location, and determine possible funding or loan opportunities. This service is open to all women, unemployed or employed.

Second Career Work Shop

For laid-off, unemployed women who require skills training to return to the work force in high-demand occupations. This information session will help clients understand this government-funded option in order to assist their return to work. Clients who are eligible will receive counselling and support during the application process.
